JEDDAH: The Socceroos have beaten Saudi Arabia 2-1 in a World Cup qualification match on the Green Falcons’ home soil in Jeddah.

The win means the Socceroos have booked their spot for a sixth consecutive early, inevitable, and humiliating defeat in the next FIFA Men’s World Cup in 2026 being hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Unless they can improve their acting skills while falling down in a totally professional manner in the penalty area, that is.
