The incredible, the amazing, the rarely equalled Newscorpse righter Peta Credlin is the winner of The Bug’s Media Glass House Arse-Licker trophy for the month of May.

The Bug apologises profusely for the delay in awarding this trophy to one of Newscorpse’s finest ring-masters and we’d love to give as the reason the usual Bundaberg-rum fuelled brawls that erupt in our judges’ room almost every month that leave the panel short of a quorum as those judges are slowly released from hospital.

But on this occasion, the May award was delayed by legal action taken by some of our judges who had argued that Credlin’s amazing cloaca-cleansing ability, her constant rimming with absolute confidence, being a poo polisher without peer that always leaves the Murdochs with arses you could safely eat a meal off for days if not weeks, made her worthy of replacing Janet Albrechtsen as naming far-rights scribe for our trophy.

It’s a sad, sad, day when Bug staffers resort to forking out to blood-sucking lawyers to resolve their spats instead of the usual biffo where no real harm is done.

Anywho, as you can see from the trophy image at top, the legal appeal was waved away and Albrechtsen still boasts naming far-rights to The Bug’s most uncoveted media award. And below are some of the examples of the winning works of Credlin, the political wonderkind and strategist who made Tony Abbott the laughing stock that he is today.

Her win, on the back of claims in the media that she and the Mad Monk still control and set the agenda for the Liberal Party of Australia, has us suspecting she has many of these monthly Arse-Licker awards ahead, along with much gargling of Listerine, and that trophy naming far-rights can’t be that far away.

Credlin’s Murdoch muckhole mastery in arguing on their behalf and business interests that the Liberals need to move further to the right will surely see the Liberals’ currently connected life-support equipment switched off sooner or later.
