US leaders update portraits

WASHINGTON DC: US President Donald Trump’s decision to again update his official portrait has prompted other senior members of his administration to do the same.

Just last week the White House released a new official portrait of the President but today announced a further refinement.

Presidential spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told a White House press pool briefing that a new version of the most recent portrait would be distributed across the US federal government agencies and embassies and other posts aboard.

“The latest version of the official portrait (below) now includes a QR code allowing anyone to access the Trump/Vance merchandising website where they can buy a range of MAGA goods to help support the President and Vice-President,” Mr Leavitt explained.

She was asked whether it was a fact that the use of the official taxpayer-funded portrait located on government premises for personal political fundraising purposes was unethical.

“That’s just fake news,” Ms Leavitt said. “This President is the most ethical, honest, and dare I say handsome President to ever occupy the White House and this new version reflects those alternative facts.”

Mr Leavitt also revealed new official portraits for US Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Junior. (main picture)

“You’ll notice that the Health Secretary’s portrait is actually two portraits,” she said.

“This has been done at Secretary Kennedy’s own request because he felt his brain worm needed to be formally recognised since it is a key player in his decision-making.”

Ms Leavitt also released a new portrait to be used by Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem. (below)

The Bug has chosen to censor the new Noem portrait in line with its publishing guidelines covering stories of animal cruelty.
