News Crap Australia says it has taken heed of the federal election result and will make significant changes to its operations as a result.
According to a News Crap Australia spokesperson, the company would be renaming a number of its media outlets as an initial response to the humiliating defeat of the Liberal Party led by Peter Dutton.
“It’s clear from the election outcome that Sky News and our hardcopy and online news outlets are serving a particular segment of the market by delivering to them the Right news and views that they seek,” the spokesperson said.
“So we’ll be changing the names of all outlets to reflect that position with Sky News Australia leading the revamp with a name-change to Echo News Australia effective from tonight.”
The spokesperson said prominent News Crap Australia “after dark” Righter, commentator, and columnist, Peta Credlin, had recorded a post-election special to be aired tonight as the first offering of Echo News. (main picture)
In her special report previewed by The Bug, Ms Credlin questions the integrity of Saturday’s result and what she describes as “the so-called Labor landslide”.
“I mix a lot with average Aussies,” Ms Credlin says. “I won’t identify them, but let’s just say people I know such as Andrew, Paul, Sharri, Caleb, James, Rowan, and Chris all think the same about Saturday’s unbelievable and clearly rigged result.
“Just like me all of them voted Liberal and none of us know anyone who didn’t do the same.
“So we’re quite right to raise…, errrr … I mean, we’re quite Right as well as quite correct to raise the possibility – or more correctly, the certainty – that this election was stolen from Peter Dutton.”
The News Crap Australia spokesperson said as part of the rebadging of its offerings, the national broadshit The Australian would change its name to The National Echo. (below)

The company’s turdbloid in Sydney, The Daily Telegraph will become The Daily Echo, with the Melbourne masthead The Herald-Sun changing to The Melbourne Echo, while The Courier-Mail in Brisbane would become The Brisbane Echo.
“The name changes will let our audience know that if they switch on our TV channel, pick up one of our newspapers, or log on to any of our online sites, they’ll know they’re in the Right place to have all their views and, more importantly, their fears confirmed and magnified,” the spokesperson said.
“After all, as everyone in the company from Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch down know, as far as News Crap Australia is concerned, the customer is always Right.”
