Political analysts from The Bug – Australia’s No.1 family newszine – continue their expert dissection of the daily machinations of the federal election campaign, although they are beginning to fret that their exhausting and thankless task might never end.

A veteran political operative who has been involved in elections around the world entered the campaign fray yesterday after being recruited by the Liberal Party to fill a pivotal role in the weeks left before the 3 May polling day.

Ms Norder spoke briefly to The Bug at Sydney International Airport before heading directly to a Liberal Party election campaign strategy meeting at News Crap Australia’s Holt Street headquarters at Surry Hills.

“In this election, as in the elections I have helped steer in the past, I’ll be really ramping up the issue of crime,” Ms Norder said.

“As always I’ll be throwing everything at voters – drug crimes, random crimes, home invasions, car thefts, crime gangs, African crime gangs, immigrants committing crimes.

“You name it, I’ll be frightening shit out of people about crime regardless of the stats and facts. That’s what Peter Dutton has asked me to do and that’s exactly what I’ll deliver.”

Ms Norder said her task would be made easier by the groundwork already laid by the Liberal Party’s advertising agency, News Crap Australia.

“My last big campaign was in the USA in 2024 where I worked on Donald Trump’s successful White House bid,” she said.

“Once again in that campaign the Trump team and I had the benefit of having a News Crap ad agency on our side in the form of Fox News.

“My job was simply to work with Fox to help scare American voters shitless about crime and especially crime committed by immigrants and black people.

“The campaign I worked on before that was in Queensland back in October where I helped the LNP – again with the help of its News Crap ad agency up there – to generate a fictitious ‘crime out of control’ shitstorm that worked a treat.

“Once again the underlying message was all about black people and the threat they pose to whites.

“I can only hope that before polls close on 3 May that I can deliver the same high quality work I achieved in those last two campaigns,” Ms Norder said.
