Hospitals left facing record ramping crisis
Public and private hospitals around Australia are facing crippling ramping numbers as countless people shocked that David Speers has penned an opinion piece that sounded almost balanced and professional face waits of some hours in ambulances before they are even triaged.
Compounding the hospitals’ dilemma is that most of those who have arrived by ambulance are ABC viewers, which mean they are largely fairly old and many have serious pre-existing medical conditions such as acute wokeness and chronic LLT (left-leaning tendencies).
Ambulances start to pile up outside hospital EDs after these poor folk read and listened to the opinion piece by the ABC’s national political lead on the ABC earlier this morning, including the images below from ABC Online.

Our reporters and stringers stationed all around Australia all told of endless reports of ABC viewers who were capable of doing so getting up from their Jason recliners and shouted “What the fuck!” before fainting dead away from shock.
They had understandably succumbed to the Speers view that prime minister Anthony Albanese was reading the Australian public mood about Donald Trump and that Peter Dutton was perhaps, maybe very likely, not.
Speers’ final points such as these….
The government is banking on voters appreciating this time is different. Trump is different. He’s more willing to risk damaging the economy, friendships and alliances in pursuit of his tariff agenda.
There’s also a risk Dutton is misreading the public anxiety about Trump and overdoing the effort to blame Albanese.
… seemed so reasonable and fair that they proved the final straw to many of those rushed to hospital.
