This first look at The Bug‘s Xcretas-of-the-Week just passed will concentrate on The Daily Telegraph‘s attempt at an Arab gotcha in Sydney but let’s have a laugh first.
Our Xcreta judges were mightily amused by this post from some chap called Phillip Adams (at top and below) responding to a truly gruesome image from Paul.

Paul’s observation is funny, right? Health secretary RFK Jnr with his anti-vax views and a worm-damaged brain thinks Steve Bannon can lead the fight to a healthier America. And, no, we’re not sure whether Bannon’s mug has been photoshopped to make him look better – or worse – than he normally does.
Ok, now onto that Daily Telegraph stunt where a reporter and cameraman waited outside while a Zionist wearing a Star of David cap allegedly tried to provoke some anti-Semitic responses from the owners and staff of the Palestinian-supporting Egypt Takeaway/Cafe in Sydney.
Let’s hear first from Veritas, Life Learn Do and Sonny NC.

Can The Bug be perfectly honest here, as we always strive to be. There are wildly different accounts of what the Jewish chap said to the cafe staff and their responses. Let’s hope that comes out. The Jewish chap was said to have been wearing video glasses; he denies this.
What we can agree on is that the Daily Telegraph‘s editor Ben English reckons the whole thing could have been handled better. We’re going to interpret that as him being very disappointed that he didn’t get the anti-Semitic responses the whole stunt was set up to achieve. Better luck next time. Maybe a T-shirt displaying a smiling Benjamin Netanyahu saying he loves making piece with Gazan kiddies?
What’s that, you say, X the Eliminator?

Okay, enough. Back to our Xcretas and a number questioned why Sunday’s
ABC Insiders program seemed underwhelmed by the whole shemozzle. Here are The Other Half and Ray Ray. It is supposedly a show much about the media and current politics.

Ouch, Ray Ray! Succinctly put. Aaron Smith made a similar link to deliver a fine faecal spray on Peter Dutton’s head….

… while blakandblack roped in the nurses saga to perhaps suggest another conspiratorial link.

jansant and Ron Baumann xcreted on the Jewish chap at the centre of this controversy ..

.. and wishing the Cairo Cafe well in their own ways were God Emperor Lord Leto II and DilinODose.

TO BE CONTINUED: Tomorrow, domestic Oz politics and Donald Trump’s ongoing war with the world.
