As you BUGgers out there should now be aware, this column is going to shamelessly select centrist or left-leaning xcreta to highlight over the coming months leading up to the federal election.
Or put another way, if you want to read xcrement lauding the likes of Peter Dutton and Angus Taylor, follow Michaelia Cash’s Xs and not ours.
It’s just what we feel we have to do; harness the immense reach and influence of this and other Bug columns (you BUGgers out there are now invited to once again insert prolonged canned laughter here or make as much noise as you can with clackers, kazoos, vuvuzelas and klaxon horns if you have them) to counteract the efforts of our disgraceful mainstream media in giving the LNP every free kick it can.
And it’s because Dutton, just about every time he opens his mouth, paints Anthony Albanese as weak with the MSM’s furious agreement, we’re going to highlight contributions such as the one (at top and below) from Paul Roberts.

So, you have been warned. This column and The Bug in general remains horrified at the real prospect that the LNP will only pay one term in Opposition for the corruption and incompetence they displayed in three terms in power. Robodebt, anyone?
Mark came up with this wonderful meme that has Patricia Karvelas looking very much like Dutton.

And seeing Mark is having an unsubtle dig at the AB “Peter Dutton says” C, here are some offerings from Eagle Sam, Lee-Anne Walker and Hugh Riminton inspired by Sunday’s edition of Insiders.

And before we leave federal politics here are a few more slanted the way we prefer. Take it away, Dazza and Rupert’s Conscience …

… while Tony Windsor and Phillip Riley plopped away on the heads of a couple of First Nations people traitors.

Now for the very-likely-to-be-resumed Israeli genocide in Gaza. Here are Scott Burchill and Afshin Rattansi.

And a short, sharp one from James Wright to finish up on.

We couldn’t agree more. Australia has just sent the US close to a billion dollars so they can speed up their sub-building program, making it possible for the Yanks to flickpass us three second-hand subs they can then do without. Sheer madness. If Scott Morrison brokered this deal, it’s entirely understandable.
