For the very first – and most likely last – time, The Bug‘s look at its Xcrements-of-the-Week has extended to a third round.
What can we say? We snared so much xcreta throughout last week on so many burning issues that we thought three grabs at them were warranted.
So what have we got this time? We’re having some brief fun with Donald Trump once more, seeing he was still to be sworn in at week’s end. And, of course, more on Israel’s currently stalled genocide in Gazza.
The Tangarine Shitgibbon first, and we are indebted to Denise Wheeler (at top and below) for this insight into just how grate the United States is to be blessed with a family as charming as Donald, Melania and Barron!

God bless America and may America bless God for saving Trump from assassination so he could return to the White House and make America grate again.
Before we move on, The Bug wants to make it crystal clear that we’re only running Denise’s xcretal outburst because it’s funny. We have no idea at all as to whether Melania Trump ever was an immigrant sex worker. So please don’t sue us, Melania! We hope you’ll be too busy making billions with your Melcoin and fashion range already brimming with success to bother with little old us. Oh, and by the way, we’re broke!

Okay, now to the Gaza Strip, where Howard Beckett reminded us of what any Palestinians who remain can expect as they return to their rubble after so many months of carpet bombing from Israel.

The things a country had to do, right, to defend its right to exist and combat some 20,000 Hamas fighters. Like dropping up to 100,000 tonnes of bombs (the estimate varies) on a strip half the size of the ACT or a bit bigger than Stradbroke Island. Well done in finally almost defeating Hamas with its limited weapons, Toyota utes, lack of tanks and aerial supremacy!
Peter Cronau had similar thoughts, along with Phillip Adams in conversation with Leo Schofield…

… while Scott Burchill riffed on our federal Attorney-General’s brown-nosing visit to Israel and Solo Monk asked a relevant question as to the direction Oz is travelling in.

… and Sarah Wilkinson didn’t hold back as she took a dump on then US secretary of state Antony Blinken.

Let’s finish off with a couple of mentions about players in this nation’s woeful mainstream mediocre.
We think Dan Ilic was wishing Adam Creighton unwell in his new role and Paul Roberts is clearly suggesting that Anthony Albanese and Labor would be unwise to expect a fair hand from certain morning TV “news” shows over coming months in the lead-in to the federal election.
