… someone who hates her?
It’s a good question, isn’t it? So before we get onto the topic du weekment – Peter Dutton’s nuclear plan “reveal” – our Xcrement-of-the-Week judges took a fancy to an age-old problem; namely the ABC’s obsession with journalists from an organisation that criticises it relentlessly and wants it killed off.
For that reason, our judges draped the blue riband around the effort (at top and below) from Elizabeth Marr, responding to Peter Murphy.

Phillip Riley also weighed in…

… as did Sleeping Giants Oz

Other Xers made the same point that there were all sorts of nuclear power experts ABC Weekend Breakfast could have got on, instead of someone from Newscorpse, with its pathological hatred of the ABC and its totally biased and unprofessional approach to politics reporting, even though it could be argued Clare Armstrong is among the best of a bad bunch.
So we agree with Elizabeth’s plea to Kim Williams. Were any us here at The Bug dear, dear, Kimmy, Newscorpse “journalists” would never darken Aunty’s door, either in person or via a screen.
And before we leave the ABC alone, we’ll let the aforementioned Peter Murphy introduce our next segment on our national broadcaster..

Lorraine xcreted in a similar vein.

Just a little bit more Bug editorialising. We are not in a election period but it constantly amazes us to see how devoted the ABC and the commercial outlets are towards giving Peter Dutton a say on anything that happens out of Canberra. Our further request to dear, dear, Kimmy, would be to review Aunty’s record over the nine years of Abbott, Turnbull and Morrison to see how often Shorten and then Albanese were given Opposition screen time for the sake of the “political balance” the ABC now appears totally committed to.
Now, Dutton’s long-awaited nuclear power-plant plans!
Let’s kick off with the wonderful Tom Red, etc, etc.

And here’s @dragOnista, etc etc, , Sahar A, bradpsychology, Michael Taylor and Quentin Dempster with their takes.

TO BE CONTINUED: The world holds its collective breath as January 20 and The Donald’s return to the White House loom, how it’s anti-semitism in Oz if you say naughty things about Israel’s genocide in Gaza and some other local politics that include some dreadful personal attacks that we shouldn’t run but can’t help ourselves.
