In the past year or so just about every media outlet operated by News Crap Australia and every Righter it employs has seen anti-Semitism in just about every syllable uttered by anyone making even the slightest negative reference to what has been and remains a clear case of genocide committed by the Israeli Government in Gaza.
All News Crap Australia outlets have also clearly been under instructions to step up their partisan attacks on the Labor Party and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese as the federal election draws nearer.
Our Media Glass House researchers noted that the two far right-wing imperatives collided in stories in Murdoch media outlets about the PM’s visit on Tuesday to the Melbourne synagogue damaged by fire a little more than a week ago. (main picture)
The word de jour in Wednesday’s turdbloids was “schemozzle” – itself an expression of Yiddish extraction suggesting chaos, uproar, or confusion, but we’ll leave the propriety of its use to one side.
Our MGH teams point out that the PM would have been driven to the mosque, got out of his car, been greeted by mosque officials, and taken on an inspection of the fire-damaged building.
So who was responsible for the supposed shemozzle? Our MGH researchers believe that News Crap Australia, in its eagerness to attack the PM actually pointed the finger at the local Jewish community for creating the shemozzle.
Given the low bar set by the Murdoch media for utterances to qualify as anti-Semitic, our researchers reckon it’s an own goal.

Our MGH teams have a simple question that they believe needs answering: Just what caused the ABC to delay publication of a story other outlets ran with a month ago?
A small public school in Sydney was named last month as World Building of the Year at the 2024 World Architectural Festival in Singapore.
ABC News Online reported the gong on Thursday. (below)

Various building and design industry publications carried the story a month ago when the award was announced. (below)

So too did The Guardian Australia on 12 November which is why its story now warns readers that the news is a month old. (below)

So, our question remains: Why the delay at the ABC?

Our MGH researchers were a bit confused by a caption to a photo in the Brisbane daily turdbloid, The Courier-Mail, about a recent court case. (below)

The caption references the accused facing child grooming charges – identified in a heading as a “pervert” – and his father, yet there are three men in the picture.
In such sensitive proceedings our MGH teams suggest that the third man, should have been identified even if only in generic terms as “a lawyer involved in the case” if indeed that is his reason for being there.
