Is Kevin in the US to help?

As promised, this second tranche of The Bug‘s Xcrements of the Week will kick off on the (largely Newscorpse-inspired) brouhaha over Kevin Rudd’s ambassadorship to the good old US of A.

Our judges wanted to give special mention to Sahar A (at top and below) seeing she combined two strands of that story that inspired much Xcrement this past week – the anti-Rudd campaign itself over his past criticisms of Donald Trump and the way the ABC’s Insiders program on Sunday dealt with it.

The very notion of Rudd kissing butt seems about as unlikely as hoping the ABC would stop scurrying down the rabbit hole and eagerly copying the campaign of Newscorpse and other mainstream mediocre outlets on this issue.

The very idea that we as Australians should bow and scrape to the US on our choice of ambassador may possibly have inspired these xcremental droppings from Carol Kirkby, Peter FitzSimons and David Marler.

Before we leave Insiders, here are some general, critical, observations about that program from Never vote LNP. on climate change targets, and Solo Monk on the show’s host. My. My. Doesn’t David Speers generate a lot of the xcrement we shovel week by week?

Onto an eclectic mix of general topics now and we’ll hear firstly from Coalition Tea Lady and sarah on Israel’s ongoing razing of all of Gaza before the kibbutz builders move in, and expanding areas of Lebanon.

It’s then onto Rex Patrick about nuclear subs, Mark Dickenson, etc, etc, etc, on Robodebt and Gary Fallon on Peter Dutton’s nuclear plans.

Speaking of Peter Dutton, Peter Murphy and stranger had this to spray.

And seeing we’ve somehow gone back to things Trump, let’s finish off with Politic@l Spinner and Robert Reich, whose X contributions we should have included when compiling yesterday’s posts on the village idiot. See what we did there? Working our way back to the beginning. It’s almost a trumpian weave!
