Were any of you BUGgers out there hopeful that all those Sky LNPNews hosts might take just a short break from their Murdoch brown-nosing bullshit now that their hero Donald Trump has won the US presidency?

Leave a vanquished Democrat candidate alone for just a short while, just for decency’s sake? Well, weren’t we all rather naive – nay, moronic – if we thought that might happen?

Showing us how wrong we were was the brownnosing bullshit rubbish that has now spewed forth like a busted inlet pipe at the sewerage works from the lips of Paul Murray (at top).

Any decent, logical and fair person – and that disqualifies Murray immediately – would have found little or no fault with Kamala Harris’s concession speech in Washington. It was concessional but also fiery and pitched to her shattered supporters, urging them to fight on.

Brownnosing bullshitter Paul Murray found only more of the “word salad” that he and other Sky LNPNews talking heads banged on about Harris during the campaign, totalling ignoring the bizarre, incoherent ramblings and the simulated hand and blow jobs from Trump.

So, early days yet, but it looks like Sky LNPNews, Newcorpse newspapers, Nine radio shockjocks and probably other mainstream mediocre outlets will be going out of their way to sugarcoat Trump’s time in the White House over the next four years.

And watching that brownnosing bullshit flowing freely in the years ahead, especially from Sky LNPNews, might be the only plus side of Americans voting for that despicable conman.

For make no mistake, Trump will be lazier and even more incompetent than in his first term and more and more erratic as his senility worsens.

And if he implements just a fraction of what he’s promised, America and the world in general are in real trouble. The stacking of his cabinet with Project 2025 sycophant brownnosers – our Sky hosts will easily recognise them – the mass deportations of ‘undocumented immigrants’, the kneecapping of the justice department, the possible further stacking of the Supreme Court, the “drill, baby, drill” attitude as he denies climate change, the promise to sool the military on his detractors and to seek revenge on political opponents and media outlets that have offended him, the big tax cuts for the Murdochs of this world, the paring back of worker rights, wages and conditions – because that is what right-wing governments do – the repeal of health care, the monster tariffs on Chinese imports, lesser tariffs on even friendly countries, the desertion of Ukraine, the attacks on NATO, the sucking up to world dictators he admires and wants to emulate, the fulsome support for the Israeli genocide in Gaza and elsewhere.

It will all end in disaster and four years from now the next Republican candidate for president will probably still be able to reply on the rusted-on racists and misogynists – remember Trump’s claim early on in the campaign that Harris had put out to get ahead – that helped put this dreadful sociopathic cunt over the line but all those working class people who thought that Don the Con would look after them are going to feel totally conned and absolutely furious.

Your ranter-in-residence has absolutely no doubt that when Trump leaves office in early 2029 – if he lasts that long – he will have an even lower popularity rating than he had last time he vacated the building.

And while all this is unfolding over the next four years, the bullshitting brownnosing non-journalists at Sky LNPNews Australia will continue to laud God’s chosen one on earth while protecting their pay packets and sucking up big time to their local bosses and the Murdochs.

It will be some small comfort watching them make absolute fools of themselves.
