For the first time in living memory, the judges of The Bug‘s Media Glass House Arse-Licker of the Month have broken with tradition and not awarded the October trophy to a single non-journalist.

Instead, the dishonour – and the blue riband – has been handed to and wrapped around the necks of an entire group of non-journalists – the entire brigade of “hosts” who have been parroting pro-Trump, anti-Harris rubbish on Sky LNPNews Australia for ever and a far-right-wing daze.

Why do we keep calling all of these right-wing ratbags penning their risible rubbish non-journalists? The little band of bitter, washed-up, old hacks who compile this column have a collective century of devotion to the once-great craft of journalism and to even remotely think of the likes of Paul Murray and Andrew Bolt and Peta Credlin and Rita Pahini and Vikki Campion – the list is almost endless, really – as journalist gives them the absolute squirts.

All our compilers can hope for is that when these non-journalists’ paypackets lob into their non-journalists’ bank accounts, it somehow makes up for the non-stop, coital-cleansing, arse-rimming, ring-a-ding-a-ling mastery that these non-journalists perform on Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch each and every day of their working lives.

The judges also wanted it known that they came close to awarding the joint honour to not just Sky LNPNews but the entire Newscorpse collective of non-journalists and they did single out The Australian‘s Adam Creighton for special mention.
