A speech by former President Donald Trump at a Make America Great Again election rally in the swing state of Pennsylvania is being blamed for tens of thousands of people including many young children having to spend Halloween in hospital emergency departments across America.

In his nationally televised speech yesterday Mr Trump blamed his Democratic Party opponent, Vice-President Kamala Harris, for dividing the USA with her inflammatory rhetoric.

“But it’s not just krazy, kooky, korrupt  Kamala who’s to blame. It’s the entire Democratic Party,” he told the cheering crowd.

“That’s why on Halloween we need to take action because sleepy, senile, sex-pest Joe Biden sure won’t.

“This year instead of welcoming people to your door for trick-or-treat, I’m calling on loyal, patriotic Americans to instead play brick-or-treat.

“If someone voting for me or wearing a MAGA hat comes to your door, give them a treat.

“But if it’s an election-stealing Democrat or someone who’s voting for kommunist Kamala, then it’s brick-or-treat time.

“Throw a brick at them as hard as you can and hopefully knock ’em out, or at least some of their teeth. Better still, kill ’em so they can’t vote next week.

“I don’t care if it’s children. They need to be taught a lesson that they can’t grow up and poison the blood of our nation,” Mr Trump said as the crowd stood and repeatedly chanted “brick or treat!”.

Towards the end of his 11-hour speech Mr Trump was handed a note outlining news of the tens of thousands of hospital admissions of children and adults across the country with severe head or bone injuries sustained after being hit by bricks.

He shared the “tragic news” with his audience then called for them to bow their heads and pray for the health and wellbeing of those injured.

“How Kamala Harris could urge people to throw bricks at fellow Americans on Halloween is beyond me,” he said.

“She should be locked up right now and executed as soon as possible,” he added after which his remarks were drowned out by the crowd chanting “Kill Kamala!”.
