It’s been revealed that the latest “visit” to the Middle East by US Secretary Of State, Antony Blinken, has in fact been conducted while he has remained firmly ensconced in Washington DC.

Biden administration sources have disclosed that footage of Mr Blinken meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to urge him to embrace a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon (main picture) was shot entirely in the State Department headquarters near the White House.

“Secretary Blinken is supposedly on his 11^th flying visit to Israel since the outbreak of war with Hamas after the October 7 atrocities,” one senior source said.

“But after 10 previous visits he released he might as well stay at home and smash his own head against a brick wall rather than try to talk to Bibi who clearly isn’t for moving from his plans to continue the genocide in both Gaza and now in Lebanon.

“So he stayed at home and we shot the footage of his ‘meeting’ with Bibi here at the State Department and just released it as if it happened in Israel. So far nobody has noticed.

“In fact we have had some feedback suggesting that the ‘Benjamin Netanyahu’ in the footage – in reality a stiff life-size cardboard cut-out – appeared to be actually listening to the Secretary’s pleas to end the unnecessary killing of innocent civilians in both Gaza and Lebanon and to move towards a ceasefire.

“Of course, that won’t happen, which justifies Mr Blinken’s decision to stay home and not waste his time flying to and from Israel.”

The Biden administration source admitted that the Secretary of State’s official aircraft had still made the flight from the US to Israel even though it wasn’t carrying Mr Blinken or any of his staff.

“Oh yes, the plane did fly to Israel because we knew that political observers and even amateur plane spotters would know something was up if it wasn’t seen landing and taking off in Israel during the Secretary’s supposed visit,” the source said.

“But don’t worry, it wasn’t entirely a wasted flight or a waste of money since we took the opportunity to pack it to the gills with US-made weapons to be used by the Israeli Defence Forces in both Gaza and Lebanon to kill innocent civilians,” the source said.
