More crap plopped onto Insiders

The ABC Insiders program cops more than its fair share of xcrement each week in this column but, as Ned Ryerson would say, the past week has been a doozey!

What caused such a fecal spray to virtually cover the program and its host David Speers? That, as some of our Xcretas predicted, Anthony Albanese’s clifftop beach house purchase would again dominate discussion and not a single mention would be made of Peter Dutton’s shameful and bullying attack on an ABC journalist simply doing her job?

Or that a desperate Speers would try gotcha attempt after gotcha attempt to get Murray Watt to commit the federal government to negative gearing and capital gains tax offset “reforms” to ensure the return next election of the only side of politics capable of good, strong, stable government?

Covering some of those bases was Miss Congealed Reality (above and below).

Backing her up and also touting for Laura Tingle was JayJay.

Also giving David Speers both barrels were Peter Murphy and Sassy Leo, the latter with a short and unsweet message.

On that Albanese home purchase, Jackie, Everald Compton, pnkl, Barbara Flowers, TomB and Mike Carlton didn’t hold back.

State politics now, and a Teals win in the former Liberal stronghold of Pittwater in a NSW state byelection brought these responses from Peter FitzSimons, in a response to Kos Samaras, and Michael J Wyllie.

And a mention, now, for someone who’s still in Australian politics, unfortunately, and someone not smart enough to realise how easily he was setting himself up. Take it away Peter Murphy and amante2.

Let’s finish with an eclectic flourish from Andrew Gardiner, Quentin Dempster. Morgan J. Freeman and Sassy Leo.
