With just over three weeks to go to US presidential election day, The Bug’s Media Glass House is proud to launch a brand new competition aimed exclusively at the numerous Sky LNPNews hosts working overtime to see Donald Trump returned to the White House.

We’ve struck a handsome trophy, to be aptly named The Unbelievably Cringeworthy Award, to honour the most unbelievably cringeworthy effort by Sky LNPNews hosts as they strive, to a man and woman non-journalist on behalf of Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, to see the tangerine shitgibbon come out on top of laughin’, crooked, brain-damaged Kamala!

We decided to strike this one-off trophy after watching Sky LNPNews hosts becoming increasingly desperate and unhinged in their efforts to get Trump across the line. The award is being run jointly with, and is not meant to overshadow, our monthly Arse-Licker-of-the-Month award which is often won by Sky LNPNews hosts anyway. This specific US-election-themed award will be presented after November 5.

And our first nominee is this unbelievably cringeworthy effort by James Morrow. And if nothing else remotely worthwhile came out of Morrow’s supposedly scathing but highly risible assessment of Harris’s appearance on a late-night TV show, it’s his use of the words “unbelievably cringeworthy” that now feature prominently on our uncoveted trophy’s base.

In his Sky LNPNews segment, Morrow roasts Harris for what he says was an “unbelievably cringeworthy” exchange involving beer and Stephen Colbert. He’s referring to the offer by Colbert to crack open a few cans with Harris, after which they are both seen on screen taking a sip.

And quite frankly, Media Glass House has real doubts that any other Sky LNPNews hatchet job on Harris over the next three weeks will match this effort. And why? Morrow had to work very hard indeed to back up his faux outrage over the beer-sipping segment.

“Have a look at this!” Morrow declares. “And I must warn you, it might just drive you to drink!”

Morrow then mocks her sipping motion to camera (shown at top), also declaring of their “unbelievably cringeworthy” exchange “how desperate” she is to “pick up male voters who, for whatever reason, are running away from her campaign in absolute droves”.

Morrow adds that Harris is clearly no Bob Hawke, perhaps indicating that Morrow would have been more impressed if she had poured a dozen cans of beer into a yardglass and drained it in just under 11 seconds! Followed, supposedly, by a monster burb and perhaps a lengthy, buttock-separating fart, that would have had US blokes returning to her fold in droves!

But he continues: “I can’t image what her advisors were thinking but I suspect that this gender gap is what led to this unbelievably cringeworthy, condescending exchange with Stephen Colbert.”

Ms Harris will happily “crack open a cold one on national TV to help along the media’s propaganda effort to get her over the line”.

And why does the Media Glass House suspect Morrow should now be clearing space on his mantelpiece for our The Unbelievably Cringeworthy Award trophy?

We all know that if the tangerine shitgibbon had been the one sharing a beer with Colbert, Morrow’s view – and the view of any of his Sky LNPNews fellow hosts – would have been entirely different!
