FUTTBUCK, GA: In the wake of firming support for Vice-President Kamala Harris an obviously frustrated Donald Trump has lashed out at President Joe Biden for quitting this year’s presidential race.
At a rally in the small rural town of Futtbuck in the swing state of Georgia, Mr Trump made sensational claims against the sitting President despite the fact Mr Biden dropped out of the race in July.
Political observers say it is clear Mr Trump is frustrated by the loss of Mr Biden as a far easier adversary than Ms Harris.
Part of his attack included an allegation involving the President’s dog Commander – a German Shepherd (main picture) exiled from the White House in October 2023 to the Biden family home in Delaware after biting Secret Service agents.
“Sleepy senile sex-pest Joe Biden has eaten his dog,” Mr Trump told a Make American Great Again rally.
“Oh yeah. Don’t let them fool you by saying Commander is alive and well at Joe’s home. He isn’t. He’s been eaten.
“Yep, old Joe has been chowing down on Commander just like the immigrants running around Springfield in Ohio with knives and forks looking for dogs and cats and small white children to eat.
“When I win in November I’ll be deporting all of them, Joe Biden included because he’s an immigrant too.
“He and his family have only been in the USA since his great-great-great-grandfather came here from Ireland, probably illegally,” he said to chants from the crowd of “USA! USA! USA!” and celebratory gun fire.
On hearing the noise from handguns, rifles, and assault weapons fired into the air by rally attendees, Mr Trump diverged from his anti-immigrant rhetoric and reflected on his own near-death experience from an assassination attempt in July.
“You know when I was so very seriously wounded – the top doctors said they had never seen anyone so badly wounded – I said I would only ever speak about the incident just once, which is what I did at the Republican Party convention,” Mr Trump said before embarking on a 90-minute recollection of events at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally in July where the attempt on his life was made.
He ended the digression by thanking the “brilliant Secret Service officers” and other law enforcement officials who protected him that day, especially for shooting dead the would-be assassin Thomas Crooks.
“I know they are still investigating the attempt on my life and will soon arrest krazy laffin’ would-be black Kamala Harris as a co-conspirator of the shooter,” he claimed,
“So it’s only a matter of time before she is convicted, hopefully without the need for an unnecessary and expensive trail, and faces the death penalty by hanging, which is the only way to treat vice-presidents,” Mr Trump said as more gunfire broke out in the crowd.
