Apologies up front for our reader trying to enjoy the Monday public holiday in Queensland (King’s birthday) and NSW (Labour Day) but much of this first look at out Xcrements-of-the-Month features current federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton.

There were far more serious X contributions about the Spudster but our judges quite liked the meme provided by Johny Miller (above and below). Further apologies for those who might be having a late brekkie but the idea of Australia having a PM with the same mindset/values/attitude to fellow Australians of Gina Rinehart certainly calls for an urgent bucket, plus a spare.

Shirley you can’t be serious, Johny Miller but polls continue to suggest he’s in with a shot.

Much of the Xcrement that plopped into our smelly barrel this past week tackled Dutton over his penchant for telling porkies and his total lack of self-awareness that makes his hypocrisy head-shakingly awful. Or put another way, if Dutton can’t spot a pollie beholden to a billionaire, no-one can!

And no-one put this better than Anthony Klan.

We’ll take a big punt here and assume Anthony has quoted Dutton correctly. If he has, lie one is that there is a Teal Political Party. Lie two is that it’s owned by a billionaire. This is the problem with this nation’s woeful mainstream mediocre at the moment, including the “Peter Dutton says” ABC. Dutton can utter all the bullshit he likes when he knows a subservient and uncritical media will swallow it hook, line and sinker. It makes for a very lazy politician.

Here are Pup Fiction, explaining that very thing, Phillip Riley (quoting Mark Kenny) and Delma praising Laura Tingle for calling Dutton out.

Others couldn’t resist dropping their load over Dutton’s nonsense claim that the Teals were owned by a billionaire, including blakandblack, Chris Free Palestine, signtst and Rupert’s Conscience.

Peter also mentioned the Teals fib but took a wider world view of Dutton…

… while Michael J Wyllie had a simple wish for the next federal election.
