Elon Musk has announced the imminent worldwide release of a new model Tesla vehicle based on his personal and political  philosophy.

The first Tesla Entitled (main picture) has been landed in Australia and is undertaking a national publicity road trip.

Mr Musk said the around-Australia promotional event would see the Tesla Entitled traverse a wide range of roads conditions as well as off-road areas including sensitive environmental areas such as wetlands, native forests, fauna sanctuaries, and sacred sites of First Nations’ peoples.

“That was my idea because as a true libertarian I don’t see why anyone should put any part of any nation off limits to its citizens,” Mr Musk said.

“The trip will also be an opportunity for people to see the Entitled up close and to inspect its many cutting-edge features.

“These include its complete lack of brakes. Once again, as a true libertarian, I don’t see why I should modify my driving just because others are on the same road.

“The new model also comes with the latest version of Tesla’s self-driving system which is now much cheaper since we dropped all the technology that triggers collision avoidance manoeuvres once it senses other road users – cars, truck, people.

“As a true libertarian I don’t see why my car has to be the one to stop someone else being injured or killed just because I make the choice to flick the switch to self-drive,” he said.

Mr Musk said the Entitled would not be using the same battery electric drive train as existing models.

“As a true libertarian I welcome the prospect of Donald Trump returning to the White House and I’m doing all I can to assist him,” he explained. “I think he’ll win and when he does it’ll be – as he’s promised – ‘drill baby, drill!’ which means fossil fuels will be back in vogue.

“So, no, the Entitled isn’t an EV. It actually has a huge gas-guzzling heavily polluting V12 engine.”

When asked if the change and his embrace of the pro-fossil fuel Trump meant he was being a hypocrite on the issue of climate change Musk said: “As a true libertarian, if you or anyone repeats that claim about me I’ll sue your ass off.”
