Tearful Trump reacts to attacks

A tearful Donald Trump (main picture) has called for Democrats to ease up on the attacks they are making on him and his record as US President.

Clearly stung by criticisms made by headline speakers at the Democratic Party’s convention in Chicago, Mr Trump said personal attacks had no place in the presidential election campaign.

“It was terrible that speaker after speaker including the foreign-born Saddam Hussein Obama; his arranged-marriage mail-order bride; and former presidential candidate, crooked child-sex trafficker Hillary Clinton, all lined up to personally attack me,” Mr Trump told a rally in Banjopluck, Alabama.

“The sort of personal attacks they launched against me have no place in American politics.

Speaking with a wavering voice, and wiping away tears, he said: “If krooked, krazy, low-IQ, suddenly black, laffin’ Kamala Harris can’t win fair and square, she and her fellow Dumocrats shouldn’t resort to such low tactics.”

Mr Trump used his Alabama rally speech to drop hints of a subtle shift in his own campaign tactics in the wake of the general rise in polling in favour Vice-President Harris since she displaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate.

“I can’t say too much about the changes I’ll soon be announcing to my own campaign but stay tuned and you’ll soon find out all about it,” he said before discreetly pinning a Make America White Again campaign button to his lapel.

Donald Trump continues to reference and compare crowd sizes that he and Vice-President Harris attract to their public appearances.

At his Banjopluck rally Mr Trump said it was significant that the event was attended by a bigger crowd than that at the Democratic Party’s convention in Chicago.

“Krazy Kamala can’t attract crowds anywhere near as big as mine,” he claimed.

“The Dumocrats couldn’t fill the convention hall in Chicago, yet I come here to this Alabama shithole and attract the biggest crowd of basement dwellers ever assembled anywhere on earth in its entire history,” he said to the crowd estimated by local Pigfuque County Police at 37 with many leaving before Mr Trump’s eight-hour speech ended.
