Tensions are high among Righters employed by News Crap Australia over who will be chosen for an “exclusive” interview with US presidential contender Donald Trump.
The Bug understands one of the Republican Party former president’s senior campaign managers, Rupert Murdoch, (main picture) is organising an “exclusive” interview for an Australian media representative.
“At this stage it is not know which one of Rupert’s estimated 389 right-wing reporters or columnists within News Crap Australia and its related entities he will choose for the plum job,” a Murdoch media source said on condition of anonymity.
“But it’s looking like it will come down to a choice between three strong contenders – Paul Murray, James Morrow, and Adam Creighton.”
The source said the far-right-wing Murray, one of the many far-right wing “after dark” commentators on the far-right-wing Murdoch-media’s far-right wing Sky News network has put up a strong far-right-wing argument.
“Paul says that because he did the last exclusive interview with Trump when Scott Morrison took him to Washington on an official visit prior to the 2020 US election, then he deserves the gig,” the source said. (below)

“While some doubted that the encounter warranted the term ‘interview’ you may recall the exceedingly high – for Sky News ‘after dark’ – quality of Paul’s questions to Trump on that occasion.
“He first probed him with ‘Have you had a good day with your Aussie mates?’ and followed up with ‘What do you want to say to your many Australian supporters who wish you nothing but the best in November 2020?’.
“But his killer question went to the heart of how the Trump White House operated when he asked ‘What’s the best thing you’ve ever ordered from the kitchen downstairs?’
“Poor old James Morrow (below) is on the shortlist and is playing up his own American background, but Rupert believes the interview is a very serious occasion especially since Trump is now under pressure from Kamala Harris and so the betting is that he’s unlikely to grant it to his resident political comedy Righter whose shtick consists of presenting the most outrageous far-right bullshit based on a minuscule sliver of fact, if even that much.

“The argument being used by Adam Creighton (below) to push his case is pretty simple.

“He says that just about every story in The Australian is badged ‘exclusive’ so the paper, and he as its MAGA correspondent should be the automatic choice.
“Plus he has a track record of acting not so much as a correspondent in Washington but as a human enema for Trump.
“Ultimately it’s Rupert’s choice, but whichever one he picks he’s going to have two very disappointed Righters to contend with,” the source said.
