Andrew Bolt has romped it in as The Bug’s Media Glass House Arse-licker for the Month of July.

The nation’s most-read newspaper columnist made our Arse-Licker judges’ jobs far too easy after he threatened the other day to resign from News Corpse Australia (above) if his beloved Lachlan Murdoch was pushed aside as executive chairman and sibling James Murdoch took over the reins of the worldwide media empire.

As one of our judges explained: “Lachlan won’t be needing to buy dunny paper for quite some time after the cloaca-cleansing, ring-a-ding-a-ling rimming of coital confidence Bolt’s tongue has given him with this declaration.”

Bolt’s threat to quit as News Corpse’s top newspaper column writer and Sky News Host watched by hundreds came amid reports of a legal battle between Rupert Murdoch and his other children as he takes court action to try to change the terms of the irrevocable family trust to favour his eldest son, Lachlan.

The Bug understands that at the heart of Bolt’s threat to resign is his fear that the other siblings – but especially the apparently more moderate James – might try to turn News Corpse and Sky News Australia into real professional news organisations rather than the far right-wing propaganda outfits they are now.

Our judge added: “You’ve really got to admire Bolt for declaring his position and putting his mouth well and truly where Lachlan’s arse is.

“If Lachlan is shunted aside, who the fuck else in the Australian media world would employ the over-paid blowhard Bolt? He’d be gone for all money, left with nothing else but a very bad taste in his mouth.”
