Dutton reveals deportation plans

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has promised “the largest deportation in Australia’s history” to tackle alleged corrupt and criminal elements within the building sector union, the CFMEU.

Speaking at a news conference in Canberra, Mr Dutton (main picture) said as soon as he was sworn in as prime minister he would begin to “round up and put on boats” every single member of the union.

“On day one, we will begin the largest domestic deportation operation in the history of our country,” he said.

Mr Dutton made his remarks in a two-hour opening statement in which he also claimed the 2022 federal election had been “stolen” by Labor because the Coalition gained a larger share of first-preference votes.

“Union-controlled sleepy, senile Anthony Albanese is asleep at the wheel, but I will stop the plunder, rape, slaughter and destruction of the Australian suburbs, cities and towns by these vermin who are poisoning the blood of our nation.”

Mr Dutton ended his news conference after taking just one question from what he described as “the fake news media” which asked if he could summarise the central element of his campaign plans for the coming federal election.

“Fright! Fright! Fright!,” he declared as he left the room while pumping his fist in the air while surrounded by bodyguards with a staffer holding a large Australian flag behind Mr Dutton’s head.
