The three-eyed elephant in the room!

Let’s start this second tranche of The Bug‘s Xcrements-of-the-Past-Week with a bit more fun over Peter Dutton’s election-losing brainfart – nuclear power stations right around this hot, sunny, windy brown land of ours!

So we kick off with yet another wonderful three-eyed meme, this one from Phillip Riley (at top and below).

While no-one can be sure why the LNP has dipped badly in the most recent Newspoll, the three-eyed elephant in the room might very well be the cause of it. In the months ahead, is Dutton going to lose an enormous amount of bark by jettisoning his nuclear folly, proving that not being a conviction politician is just one of his many non-attributes?

Before we leave that topic, here’s the wonderful TOM RED with his own memeingful take on the matter.

Okay, enough of that …. for now! Let’s get onto the great debate. No, not the CNN debate the other night …. the overall debate as to how a nation of 330 million plus people can end up with two senile old men contesting the presidential farce-off come November.

Here’s Mr Denmore and Suomi Fella on such matters.

Great meme there, Suomi Fella. If it’s yours, take a bow. If not, thanks for passing it on.

Still on Trump/Biden matters but having a dig at David Speers was Peter Murphy, while bradpsychology and Phillip Riley had a go at their own media players of choice.

We’re with bradpsychology. Why shouldn’t Peter van Onselen be treated with distain by anyone with political power. After all, Peter’s the one who decided to go work for The Daily Mail.

On general issues, Gregory Andrews showed he’s not a royalist while Paul Begley lamented the demise of NACC’s reputation.

Let’s finish by returning to the issue that dominated yesterday’s first tranche of The Bug’s Xcrements-of-the-Week – Senator Fatima Payman being frozen out of Labor Party forums. By the time we upload this copy, she might have already done the only thing now available to her and now sits in the Senate as an independent.

Take it away, Coalition Tea Lady, Richard Wright, yungenchee, bsky.social, Kos Samaras, Rachel Withers, Josh Butler and Step and fetch.

Can we be forgiven for a little Bug editorial at the end here? We can. Thank you.

The ALP has very strict rules and we guess Albanese had no choice but to freeze out Senator Payman, the better option in his mind at least to expulsion.

But listening to the likes of Albanese and Penny Wong over many months now, just how Zionist do they think Australia is? The Bug has looked at the Australian electorates with a strong Jewish vote that might be affected if Labor nationally decided to call a genocide genocide, and there’s little to no electoral bark to be lost there. The greater danger to Labor appears to be in outer-capital city seats with a strong Muslim presence.

It just doesn’t make sense to have a national party policy in favour of a two-state solution in Israel yet go all wishy washy over voting for a Palestinian state that clearly is now never going to happen… in that particular part of the world anyway. Gaza and the West Bank are on their way to being dead, buried and in some cases cremated.
