Shadow federal energy minister Ted O’Brien’s appearance on the ABC Insiders program on Sunday to explain the coalition’s seven-nuclear-plants policy didn’t please everyone.
Two of the most fierce doubters – Michael J Wyllie and TOM RED – are shown above and below.

Also having a dig at Ted’s appearance – in more ways than one – on Insiders was David.

Shit, sorry! We promised during the first look at our Xcrements-of-the-Week yesterday that we’d give those childish three-eyed mutant memes a break. It’s time for a serious debate on the Opposition’s plans, not this sort of puerile, infantile, sideline rubbish. Right?

Trying their best to go down the serious debate path with nary three-eyes to be seen – and having a little dig at the ABC in the process – were Lucy Turnbull AO and Peter Murphy.

Crikey also had some stern words for journalists covering the Opposition’s nuclear plans…

…. while Margie Jones’s debate line went to water as she responded to Monique Ryan.

Rudy Terwilliger had some thoughts on who is really behind the Coalition’s new-found interest in seven nuclear power-plants, with numerous reactors at many of the sites.

And Josh Wilson brought dear old Johnny Howard into the debate, seeing the Man of Steel/The Unhanged War Criminal was wheeled out to support Dutton’s nuclear plans. When you need Howard’s help to sell anything, then you really are in trouble.
