Did you hear or read the one about poor sleepy old Joe Biden shitting his pants at the D-Day 80th anniversary commemorations at Normandy the other day?

It was all over The Bug‘s two X platforms all day yesterday; seemingly irrefutable reports from serious, believable, people of Jill Biden having to steer her Joe away from the proceedings, after he apparently did a McDonald’s Engadine.

Okay, we were only joking about irrefutable reports from serious, believable people. It was largely Trump cookers, nutters and conspiracy theorists left behind by life’s cruel passage, albeit with rather large followings, raising an almighty stink over stinky Joe’s kimbie-filling faux-poo.

So did the dear old bugger actually shit his daks? From what we at the The Bug can work out, apparently some alleged comedian somewhere claimed that Biden trying to sit on a chair that wasn’t there was actually taking a dump on an equally imaginary shitter.

Of course, MAGA cookers, nutters and conspiracy theorists left behind by life’s cruel passage and who sadly think Trump is the answer to their woes weren’t the only culprits in spreading this shit about.

Two respected news organisations, the UK Metro and our very own Sky LNPNews Australia (see at top and below) – focused in on Biden’s Normandy woes. Respected news organisations! You BUGers out there are now invited to insert prolonged canned laughter here or make as much noise as you can with clackers, kazoos, vuvuzelas and klaxon horns if you have them.

In its rush to pour shit on poor old Joe, the Metro even stuffed up the word pooping.

Down Under, one of the typical Sky LNPNews’ four or five par yarns they post on search engine Microsoft Start surprisingly left out Biden’s alleged pants-filling performance but made it clear the missus had to scurry him off for some good reason, leaving an “awkward” French president to do commemorative stuff on his lonesome, the poor buggerment.

Here’s the entire Sky LNPNews online post – and yes, we accept that the desire for them to run the HE SHAT HIS PANTS! line must have been almost overwhelming. They probably did it elsewhere.

First Lady Jill Biden, with her hand over her mouth, appeared to be mouthing words of guidance to him.

Jill Biden later led him away while French President Emmanuel Macron stayed to greet veterans, some over 100 years old.

“The vets look more with it than Biden,” one user wrote on X.

And the source for these Sky LNPNews revelations that Biden had been mocked online after appearing to make a series of gaffes? And let’s face facts: he did make a gaffe or two worth taking the mickey out of without resorting to pure shit.
