NORMANDY, France: A defiant if slightly confused US President Joe Biden has vowed here to continue with his November re-election plans despite stinging criticism from one of Sky LNPNews Australia’s most respected and admired contributors that he “physically and mentally cannot do this job”.
Mr Biden went off script at the 80th annivsersay of the June 6 D-Day landings to admit that maybe Kristin Tate “is spot on and maybe I should use D-day to call it a day as well”.
“When you cop criticism from someone as respected and politically astute as Kristin, you’d have to be a stupid, sleepy old bugger not to at least heed her advice and perhaps follow through and do the right thing by the American people.
“But I’m also a stubborn, sleepy old bugger and, Donald Trump, let’s rumble in November!” he declared with a double fist-pump that left his audience largely unmoved.
Ms Tate, appearing on the Kenny Report on Chris Kenny’s eponymous program on Sky LNPNews on Tuesday (below) told Kenny that “even Joe Biden’s supporters know he can’t do his job as president”.

“He physically and mentally cannot do this job and they are not even trying to hide it anymore,” Ms Tate told Kenny’s viewer.
“What they are going to attempt to do instead is again, just kind of push him away into the basement and point at Donald Trump.”
Mr Biden in fact interrupted his speech three times to repeat the line that Ms Tate was “spot on and maybe I should use D-day to call it a day as well” forgetting he had already said that several times before.
But the president recovered quickly, ad-libbing that he loved Brisbane and was honoured to be at the Normanby Hotel’s 80th birthday celebrations.
