Frydenberg, Aunty cop a spray

Before we get onto more serious issues in this second look at The Bug‘s Xcrements-of-the-Week, let’s just run with an oldie but a goldie from Johnny Miller (at top and below) that has a distinctly and appropriately shit-smeared theme.

Haven’t seen a version of that for a while. Another reason we thought it was worth a rerun was the news that the Dirty Digger and two of his global henchpersons were in town last week, reportedly hinting at major changes to the Newscorpse Australia structure.

While we’re not suggesting The Australian might be flushed down the dunny as the first turd off the rank of how to cut Newscorpse’s growing losses, it felt good to even think it a possibility. But we at The Bug think the Oz and Sky LNPNews after dark are as safe as the Dirty Digger’s Manhattan penthouse.

Anyway, now to more serious matters, namely Josh Frydenberg’s non-return to federal politics.

amante2 and Wazza from Melbourne had their two-bobs’ worth …

The Emperor’s Old Tailor also dropped this Xcrement on the former federal Treasurer…

Yep, The Bug‘s view is similar. If anybody in the Victorian Liberal Party thought it was absolutely vital that Josh Frydenberg returned to Canberra to help his LNP colleagues out, it just shows what a fucking mess the Liberals especially are in at the moment.

But enough already! We also had the ongoing fallout from Laura Tingle being rather silly and telling some home truths about Australia at a writers’ festival, with some of our Xers focussed on the ABC’s censure by Justin Stevens of the poor lady.

Take it away, Terry Sweetman and and Phillip Riley.

We’ll give amante2 a second grab for roping Fauziah Ibraham into the mix, as did Rupert’s Conscience….

… while Skyowl plopped this contribution into the Bug’s Xcrements barrel, with David Speers in his rear sights.

On more general issues, let’s hear from some chaps named Paul Bongiorno, Scott Burchill and Mike Carlton.

Gawd, it’s a crappy world at the moment, isn’t it? So we started with a little bit of lighthearted nonsense so let’s end with this nice little contribution from Peter Murphy.
