The Bowen Hills branch of the Liberal National Party has been up to its old tricks in its treatment of federal Opposition Leader Peter Dutton’s budget reply speech this week.
As expected Mr Dutton’s response on Thursday night to the Albanese Government’s budget delivered on Tuesday was one of the big news items in News Crap Australia turdbloids yesterday.
One of the claims Mr Dutton made as part of his overall theme was that our nation under Labor is on the wrong track and he is needed in The Lodge to get it “back on track”.
This is a tired old line that’s been used many, many times by opposition parties and their leaders for decades.
So it was no surprise that the line was picked up in subsequent coverage by News Crap Australia turdbloids including The Advertiser in Adelaide and The Daily Telegraph in Sydney (right and further right below).

Both turdbloids had no trouble recognising that the words in question needed to be identified as Dutton’s by wrapping them in quotation marks.
But in Brisbane, the daily LNP newsletter published by News Crap Australia – known formally as The Courier-Mail – saw no need for such an embellishment. (below)

Yet again it presented Dutton’s words expressing his and his party’s anti-Labor opinion as fact.
Such a simple and unethical approach once again proves that those in charge at Bowen Hills feel that the nation is off the track and that it’s the sworn duty of its reader to help get it back on track by voting for Dutton as soon as they can.
