MEDIA NEWS:
The Bug’s world-renowned in-house astrologer Kisma Aryias (main picture) says the ABC should explain how it could make a statement about the content of its live Monday evening public discussion program Q&A one week out from its broadcast.
Mr Aryias who writes impeccably accurate and insightful horoscopes exclusively for The Bug each month (right) said he wanted to know the source of the definitive claims broadcast last night by ABC TV.

In a rare interview he said he had heard the voiceover promotion for next Monday’s Q&A at the end of a four-part series on former UK prime minister Boris Johnson.
He said the ABC announcer told viewers that Q&A – on hiatus to allow for the screening of the British profile of Mr Johnson – would return to air in its usual Monday timeslot next week.
But, he said, the announcer also promised viewers that next week’s Q&A program would provide “a stimulating debate and a thought-provoking exchange of ideas”.
“For a start I have been an occasional viewer of Q&A over some years and that description doesn’t fit the programs I’ve seen,” Mr Aryias said from his traditional yet luxurious Bedouin tent in the backyard of his Brisbane home where he compiles his horoscopes from midnight to dawn.
“Most of the Q&A shows I’ve seen are very predictable and feature the same tired old faces from the ABC’s rota of Sydney ‘celebrities’, commentators, and shallow loudmouthed pollies parroting the same old arguments.”
An ABC spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment when contacted by The Bug.
“I could have told you that, and saved you a call,” Mr Aryias said, adding that the ABC should divulge if its prediction came from someone who, like him, was a financial member in good standing of the global peak body for professional soothsayers, the Paris-based Société des Horoscopes Internationaux Tabulateurs.
“Nobody should trust any prediction they see or hear unless they know it’s come from a SHIT member like me,” he said.
