Did they share a ciggie afterwards?

…. BEWDIFUL, GLENN!

We kick off this second tranche of The Bug’s Excrements-of-the-Week by honouring this nice little pisstake from Glenn Gibson (at top and below.)

Yes, Glenn, we’ve noticed it too. Greg can swear otherwise until he’s Liberal blue in the face but we at The Bug believe we’ve detected some subtle differences in his interviewing style between LNP and Labor pollies.

The big news towards the week’s end was the olive branch extended by Brittany Higgins to her former boss Linda Reynolds who thanked the alleged (the word Reynolds used more than once in her statement on said olive branch) rape victim for that but vowed to continue her defamation case anyway.

Sahar Adatia and Ray Wilton both picked up on Peter Dutton’s fulsome praise for Reynolds in the wake of the Federal Court Lehrmann defamation case.

While we’re on the Opposition Leader, we really did like Dazza’s take on Peter Dutton’s push for nuclear power stations dotted around the countryside – small boutique ones or some quite larger.

Here’s a double dip from Glenn Gibson on Dutton’s past employment while amante2 doesn’t think Dutton is the right man to address the “moral fog” he says is afflicting Australia.

Some chap called Phillip Adams took a swipe at Trump….

… while TOM RED applied his creativity to a couple of Fourth Estate issues…

Very good, Mr RED. With the Daily Mail Australia gig, Peter van Onselen appears to have finally found his natural home.

And let’s finish with an oldie but a goldie, given a fresh run this past week by Paul Syvret.
