Queensland Premier Steven Miles is understood to be very unhurt indeed after being described as “clueless” by one of Australia’s most respected politics commentators,

Sky LNPNews host Paul Murray used an online post (above) to opine that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had the “gall” to talk up a premier as “clueless” as Steven Miles.

“The Prime Minister said during an address that Steven Miles is ‘putting forward a vision’ for Queensland while slamming the state opposition as being connected to the Newman government,” one of this nation’s finest politics opinionitas thundered.

“Was he really trying to pin on David Crisafulli the government that came to power after years of the Bligh government, the Beattie government before that,” Murray said.

“It lasted three years; it was replaced and this mob have of course run everything into the ground since that moment took place.

“Every opinion poll suggests this bloke should be gone by the end of the year – fingers crossed.”

A spokesperson for the Queensland Premier said: “Few people would know this but our boss is a rather sensitive person who sometimes has trouble handling criticism as stinging as Paul Murray as dished out here.

“But rather amazingly, he hasn’t been affected by it at all.”

“He in fact feels a little sorry for Murray for thinking there’s a story in a Labor PM singing the praises of a Labor Premier facing an election soon.

“He knows Murray writes a lot of shit but this is right up there with the smelliest he’s ever pumped out.”
