A number of Albanese government ministers are expected not to resign despite stinging criticism from one of our nation’s leading politics commentators.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is also understood not to be considering his position after his government was called a “clown show” by Sky LNPNews host Danica De Giorgio (at top).

The respected politics opinionista said it just “gets more and more humiliating” for Labor over its immigration detainee bill.

The Opposition and Greens in the Senate rejected the government’s urgency with the bill and referred the laws to a parliamentary inquiry for scrutiny, she pointed out.

“We saw the clown show in Canberra last week,” De Giorgio said.

“Where Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil scurried away from journalists when she realised her emergency laws wouldn’t get through parliament.

“This saga just gets worse – now the PM is facing an internal revolt.”
