Markson makes her move!

Sharri Markson, one of the many hosts of SkyLNPNews Australia, has made an early yet impressive bid for the coveted The Bug‘s Media Glass House’s Arse-Licker for the month of April.

Our Arse-Licker judges were astounded by her interaction just the other day with both her guests on SkyLNPNews, Michael Kroger and Graham Richardson, but especially Kroger’s comments that PM Anthony Albanese was “too woke” and “too inner-city”.

One judge said: “You could almost hear Markson wee tinkling with excitement at Kroger’s suggestion that Labor was slipping so far behind in the suburbs that at the next poll it could lose 11 to 13 seats!

“She asked Kroger: “Michael, do you think that Labor is slipping so far behind that they may not get to minority government?”

“Our only problem as judges is whose arse is Markson licking the cleanest here? There’s no doubt Kroger won’t have any need for dunny paper for some days after that SkyLNPNews appearance but surely the way she always carries on with her main duty, namely to keep the coits of Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch so clean you could safely eat a meal off them, clearly remains paramount.

“Why we think Markson is looking good for end-of-month Arse-Licker trophy glory is when she couldn’t help interrupt Kroger mid-rant about Albanese with this: “… and a hypocrite with his jet-setting lifestyle!”. (You BUGers out there are welcome to insert prolonged and loud canned laugher here or wave your clackers or blow your kazoos, vuvuzelas and klaxon horns if you have them at the very notion that Markson probably calls herself a journalist).

“Not to mention the praise she heaped on both Kroger and Richardson with this: ‘You two are the most experienced political commentators in this country’.” (You BUGers out there are once again welcome to insert prolonged and loud canned laugher here or wave your clackers or blow your kazoos, vuvuzelas and klaxon horns if you have them at the very notion that Markson probably calls herself a journalist).

Our judges were also impressed by the way Markson turned straight back to Kroger when Richardson appeared to be trying to keep the few Labor mates he might still have left by saying that Albanese had a likeability factor that would help him at the next election.

Kroger took up the attack once more, saying that likeability was not as important as, and we’re paraphrasing a bit here, electing Peter Dutton and ensuring that Australia was once again governed by the only side of politics that can manage economies well.
