Bug pisstake said it all …No2!

2024 BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS:

Our ranter-in-residence Don Gordon-Brown over recent days has been detailing two decades of LNP Queensland duplicity and deception in breaking Brisbane City Council rules by using the council’s cleat – its intellectual property – for its own selfish political purposes.

By the time this particular Bug pisstake (above and link below) was posted on 6 April 2023, the LNP had won the battle and the war. They had taken control of the council’s IP and now owned it. More importantly – and this was the only real reason for this ongoing and ruthless cleat-cheating exercise since 2004 – LNP Queensland had established itself as the council’s one and only political partner. The LNP Queensland and the Brisbane City Council had become one and the same.

We hope you enjoy this post from our archives, using the very simple satirical method of reversing what used to be reality about who owned what, and putting words into Central Ward councillor Vicki Howard’s mouth to make what we hoped were very telling points about what has been happening since 2004.

And, yes, there are very good reasons why Councillor Howard has appeared in both pissstakes from our archives over recent days and our ranter-in-residence will pay homage to the darling lady tomorrow morning – election day in Australia’s largest municipal area.
