Rupert makes party plans

MEDIA NEWS:

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is reportedly planning a second buck’s night after being disappointed at the outcome of his first attempt to celebrate his impending fifth marriage.

A spokesperson for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) said officers had found Mr Murdoch this morning wandering half-naked in a graveyard just outside New York City, appearing somewhat upset, muttering a stream of far-right wing mantras, and wearing a Donald Trump wig. (main picture)

“Officers were at first concerned that Mr Murdoch may have over-indulged at the party he had scheduled to mark his most recent engagement,” the spokesperson said.

“But he soon explained that he was perfectly sober and also advised that since semi-retiring as co-chair of News Corp International and no longer being so much in the public eye, he always dresses that way.

“What had upset him was that he had arranged a party with a group of his closest male friends and had been given their latest addresses which turned out to be the graveyard. Let’s face it, at 92 that’s bound to happen.

“What seemed to have upset him the most was the lack of people confirming that his coming marriage to a 67-year-old is the best thing for him to do at this stage of his life.”

The NYPD spokesperson said Mr Murdoch had advised he would be rescheduling the celebration.

“He told officers that next time he would be inviting people he could rely on to tell him what a great decision he had made.

“The guest list is likely to consist entirely of Fox News and Sky News Australia presenters, and the entire editorial staff of The Australian newspaper and editors of his Aussie metro turdbloids,” the spokesperson said.
