Five seek Libs’ nod for Cook

The exit from federal parliament of former prime minister Scott Morrison will see five former ministers in his government seek Liberal Party preselection to succeed him at the coming by-election for the seat of Cook in Sydney’s south.

The Bug can report that former federal treasurer Scott Morrison, former finance minister Scott Morrison, former health minister Scott Morrison, former home affairs minister Scott Morrison, former resources minister Scott Morrison (pictured clockwise above with former Prime Minister Mr Morrison at bottom centre) have all announced their intentions to nominate for preselection.

The big field of Scott Morrisons has not fazed Labor’s possible candidate Simon Earle who told The Bug: “I’ll gladly take on any one or all five of them!”
