Just in case Elon Musk’s X grows twittery wings and disappears up his wretched right-wing arse any time soon, our Xcrement of the Week judges thought it timely to start the New Year by honouring Coalition Tea Lady.
We’ll call her a she but who knows. What we do know is that CTL has for a long time now unerringly passed wise judgement on all sorts of issues, social and subjects du jour, but especially politics at state, federal and international level.
Our Xcrement judges – and everyone at The Bug generally – believe we have a special affinity with CTL. We suspect that both she, he or it and ourselves collectively grabbed for the chuck bucket when that wonderful deputy prime minister of ours, Richard Marles, stared at the camera at the very moment Israel told the million people in north Gaza to get out or die – that’s a war crime, folks! – and brazenly told us Israel was obeying the rules of war as it executed Palestini… sorry… its right to defend itself. Vomitous, unpardonable bullshit from a supposedly centrist Labor government.
CTL saw straight away what the Israel Defence Force’s true mission in the Gaza strip was, and her criticisms of western countries that have gone along with the genocide unfolding in Gaza have been as relentless as the IDF bombs and tank shells that have killed well over 20,000 citizens of Gaza, mainly kids and women.
Two of CTL’s recent posts are shown at top and below.\

As CTL banged on in another post, Australia rushed to sign a document scathing of Houthis piracy on the Red Sea but as to more than 10,000 kids killed in Gaza? Either crickets or the occasional weasel words.
Running CTL close for Xcrement of the Week honours was Ron Baumann, and we think his “genocide-enabling cowards” jibe at the leaders of our faux left/centrist government is a perfect one. In fact, we think we can hear CTL nodding agreement.

And it might be an oldie but still a goldie as @LexiAlex reminds us of this cartoon.

And Scott Burchill dropped his own truth bomb on our woeful mainstream mediocre in its refusal to talk to two leading scholars who clearly understand what’s going on over there.

And let’s leave the ongoing mass murders of innocents in Gaza with this chilling image from Dr Sheep Person Podge.

Just think about that for a second, as Mansoor, etc, has pointed out. Pence has to know these munitions will not be raining down on Hamas fighters. Pence shows himself to be a true, unabashed, unapologetic Zionist warmonger. Well, he is a senior US politician after all.
Now, of course, half a world away from Gaza where the IDF continues to blow women and children apart for not doing the right thing and moving to Egypt or the Congo, we have the dreadful case of the Qantas cabin crewer who – shock, horror – wore a little Palestinian flag on her uniform.
Here are Tony Koch, in conversation with Kaz Cooke, Geoff Kitney and Mike Carlton sharing their views, and Pauline Pantsdown on that particular scandal.

The Bug‘s own view on the Sky News lass who doubled down on her decision not to reveal the identity of the Tasmanian Liberal at the centre of this confected outrage: a journalist might have felt to need to disclose that but this was just SkyNews after all.
THE OTHER HALF TOMORROW! David Warner, the shitrag that is The Courier-Mail, the cookers carrying on about Australia Day and some other bibs and bobs.
