Israel boosts Gaza aid

WAR IN GAZA:

Israel’s leader Benjamin Netanyahu says the “cold-blooded murder of three Israeli hostages by Hamas” will not be used as an excuse to stop the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza (current aerial view shown above).

“While some antisemitic, Hamas-apologist agitators are blaming the Israeli Defence Force for the deaths of the three hostages, and just because the IDF has admitted to shooting dead all three, doesn’t mean Hamas is not to blame,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said without elaborating.

“This tragedy will not stop our humanitarian efforts in Gaza and in fact I have given orders that those efforts should be doubled if not tripled in response.”

Mr Netanyahu said he had personally ordered a massive increase in deliveries of basic materials to all parts of Gaza.

“We will be prioritising the rapid – very, very rapid – delivery of huge quantities of steel, white phosphorous, thermite, barium nitrate, and sulphur,” he said.

“In line with our usual operations in Gaza we’ll be using the IDF to deliver those materials directly to hospitals, schools, apartment blocks, and other homes of all Palestinians living – for the moment – in Gaza,” he said.
