TEL AVIV: Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has “very wisely” distanced himself from a fresh media advertisement that world diplomacy experts say will only further inflame pro-Palestinian anger over events unfolding in Gaza.
Netanyahu denied any links whatsoever to whoever was responsible for the advertisements (detail at top and in full below) that have been run overnight in print-media outlets in Israel and in strong Jewish communities around the world such as New York city and Bondi Junction in Sydney.
“It was very wise of him to do that,” one world diplomacy expert told The Bug of Netanyahu’s quick disownment of the advertisement that renamed the Gaza strip New South Israel.
One exceptionally offensive part of the advertisement shows a flattened area of north Gaza accompanied by the following text:
The Israeli Armed Forces are currently reducing the top half of the area formerly know as the Gaza Strip and the Palestinians squatting there illegally to rubble which means work can begin soon on basically fully cleared land on dozens of luxury gated communities whose beautiful gardens will never need any additional blood-and-bone fertilising!

When finally completed, New South Israel will be the proud home of millions of happy Jewish families living, as Yahweh intended, in peaceful harmony on their historic lands and serviced by modern new hospitals and a world-class underground rail system based on disused Hamas tunnels.
Mr Netanyahu told a hastily convened media call here: “I have no idea who is behind this Holocaust Housing Ltd.” And he acted reacted angrily to suggestions that the home builder might be a project of his son Yair, 32, who has copped flak recently from the country’s soldiers who have accused him of ‘abandoning’ them by staying in Miami in the US while 360,000 reservists have been called up for the current war.
“Yair would never be involved with any project of this type without offering me a chance to be involved at the ground level, so to speak, and he has definitely not done that,” Mr Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu Senior has also been at odds with western leaders for controversial statements saying Israel would remain in the Gaza strip and basically govern it after Hamas is eradicated.
