Before we get down to the serious business of trying to fathom why Israel seems intent on causing World War 3, our Xcreta-of-the-Week judges thought that if it was at all possible to find something even remotely funny about what’s happening over there, then they should focus on that first.
And, so, right on cue, two discredited ex-prime ministers – the UK’s Boris Johnson and our very own Scott Morrison – lobbed in Israel to wish the Zionists every successful kiddie and other innocent civilian death in Gaza as they defended their right to exist.
And those judges couldn’t go past Coalition Tea Lady’s bewdiful meme using a Dumb and Dumber shot to sum up these two hopeless has-beens and exactly how much attention should be paid to anything they want to spray – on any fucking issue, really.
Also taking the mickey out of Boris the Boofhead and the apparently unemployable Liar from the Shire was LORD Copout26 with this close runner-up to CTL’s effort. National Lampoon indeed.
Amante2 joined in with some damn fine descriptions of Scott Morrison while Michael J Wyllie asked a very reasonable question in a dialogue with Terrence Carter, who rightly saw the visit by these two disgraced and rejected politicians as surely the first line of a joke, which we shamelessly pinched for the heading to this post.
And then there was Joe2: Woke & proud of it. with a wonderful “weapons of mass stupidity” observation.
But now to the serious side of the Israel/Gaza war. The Bug has never denied being a little bit left of centre and we always try to remember that our X site reflects that to some extent.
But we are heartened by the depth of feeling over the war crimes being constantly committed by Israel in the Palestinian enclave (yes, and it’s here that we insert the obligatory comment that the attacks into Israel at the start of October by Hamas were totally repulsive, cowardly and inhumane) and it gives us hope that maybe, just maybe, Australia is not quite as Zionist as Johnson, Morrison and Peter Dutton hope it is.
We simply don’t have room for even a worthy sample of the Xcrement that has poured forth as Israel reduces Gaza and thousands of children to rubble for no other reason than to ensure their own fatalities are kept to an absolute and politically acceptable level.
But we’d simply like to thank the aforementioned Coalition Tea Lady for her contributions. Her Xcreta has poured forth with a relentlessness that thousands of Israeli rockets have found it hard to match. Here’s what we reckon is the most stinging of CTL’s many posts since October 7.
