X marks the spot…

… for the fight to continue unabated!

While our First Nations people use a week of silence to show their totally understandable shock, grief and utter disappointment over the Voice referendum result, The Bug is absolutely delighted that other Yes advocates have decided to take no prisoners and will continue to push their case and try to understand what happened.

We at The Bug think that’s an excellent idea! Let’s shove aside the “we’ve all now got to be nice to each other!” bullshit and get stuck in. The battle was lost; the war is there to be won.

It’s already clear the the great bulk of our wretched, pathetic mainstream mediocre is going to blame PM Albanese and Labor 100 per cent for this result. Did you listen to David Crowe and David Speers on Insiders singing It was all Albo’s fault!, a new song they hope will be a hit from the MSM’s political songsheet?

The MSM will ignore reality and do what they can to garner votes out of this disaster for Peter Dutton, who has already declared he’s the man to help repair a nation ripped asunder by the Yes side’s divisive and racist proposal. Yes, we know! As The Bug said in its many memes released during the campaign, you’d die laughing at the many lies the No case pedalled and what their real intentions were if it wasn’t so bloody serious.

Our Xcreta-of-the-Week judges selected the X post (at top and below) from Sahah Adatia at this week’s winner.

Besides, his comments were in lockstep with a Bug meme we also shared repeatedly during the campaign…

Let’s run another X from Sahah which helps us lead into a number of contributions centred around the theme of racism.

Before we run them, though, was anyone impressed with Jacinta Price’s heartfelt message post the vote that Australian is not a racist country. This, from one of the lead campaigners of a No campaign that over and over again deliberately dog-whistled to the racists among our midst.

Let’s hear from JayJay, Kate and Quentin Dempster and Michael West in conversation…

and from Jenny Frecklington-Jones #VotedYes and Peter Murphy ….

Peter sums up things pretty well. The referendum result clearly shows Australia is racist or blighted by an easily-led stupidity, or both. A very unpleasant debate to be had there.

theunaustralian.net and Michael J Wyllie had a go at leading No spruikers Jacinta Price and Warren Mundine…

Dead Parrot Society also joined in.

Now, let’s hear from a swag of people who have some bad news for Peter Dutton if he thinks there’s votes for him in how he’s sunk the Voice.

Take it away, Sandra K Eckersley, bradpsychology and Victoria Fielding.
