THE VOICE REFERENDUM:
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has a solid lead in polling just five days out before the winner of The Bug‘s Voice Referendum Racial Dog-Whistling Shithead trophy is announced.
The award is being contested by both mainstream media players and politicians pushing the No case and will be awarded to the shithead among them spewing the most shit from their mouths.
“The lead at the moment is fairly substantial and Dutton will have to fuck up really badly from now on to lose this one,” The Bug‘s internal pollster Revolting Political Monitor’s Lou Reed explained.
“He has been consistently rated very highly for months now for the number of redhot porkies he’s had to spread to politicise the issue which was, of course, vital to ensuring the referendum’s defeat as the history of these things shows.
“His mindless ‘If you don’t know, vote No!’ chant, which when you think about it is the most disgraceful and saddest thing any politician seeking the highest office in the land could try on, has also garnered favour. Go figure.”
