For the first time in the history of this uncoveted award, our monthly winners are not only multiple but they are unnamned.
That’s right. The judges of The Bug‘s Media Glass House Arse-Licker of the Month of September award have draped the blue riband around the shoulders of Newscorpse production people – sub-editors and internet uploaders – who played their part alongside the essayists and columnists who have over recent says licked Rupert Murdoch’s muckhole as clean as a whistle, as Bill Lawry was won’t to say.
Examples of the work of these unnamed and unsung zeroes are shown at top and below.
Breathtaking, aren’t they? The Dirty Digger might live to be a hundred and never have to wipe his scrawny, greedy, unethical, arse every again if his employees can maintain this level of ringmastery down the tan track!
Now we don’t know how many arselickers were involved in garnering this September award. The online promo shown at left was also the splash in the print-edition of The Weekend Australian as it paid homage to Murdoch after he stepped down as chair of his global media operation.
Do those subs also upload internet plugs for the nation’s loss-leading broadshit? If not, we could be talking maybe up to four people involved in this breathtaking orgy of nonagenarian sphincter tongue-twisting that has Murdoch rimming with confidence.
Of course, what truly shocked the judges was the absolute audacity of those September winners in stating the exact opposite of what has been the truth about Murdoch and his Newscorpse for decades now.
Murdoch has never been interested in the truth. Or freedom. Or being balanced and fair over politics. He has always been for the elite and not against them. To state clear falsehoods as the absolute truth must have Joseph Goebbels blushing with pride.
Murdoch has never been a real journalist. The Australian and all other mastheads he operates are not newspapers. The people who work for him – especially those who create the images and headlines mentioned here – and his cabal of brown-nosing columnists and essayists are not journalists. They are political propagandists doing exactly what Murdoch demands of them.
So while some unnamed, unashamed production zeroes might be in The Bug‘s judging limelight right now – and guys, go suck on some mints; your breaths are revolting! – never, ever, underestimate the competition they faced last month and every month for that matter.
Example 1: Peta Credlin, banging on about how disingenuous the pro-Voice campaign has been! Yes, we know. Given the litany of lies spread by the No! camp, it’s headshaking in its dishonesty, isn’t it?
Example 2: James Morrow, banging on about those “elites” dear old Rupert has been campaigning against all his life! God bless him and all who tongue in him.
We at The Bug will remain forever hopeful that when the likes of Credlin and Morrow – and so many more – write such shit, they at least have the decency to close their door and blush even just the slightest of bits!
