Our second batch of Xcretas-of-the-Week once again unashamedly concentrates on the looming Voice referendum.
And our judges were mightily amused by Mike Carlton’s contribution (above and below). A separate piece of Xcrement from Mike – one we’ve misplaced – mentioned the meme was someone else’s but he loved the idea of the No Hopers. We do too!

Now for some reactions to the wonderful turnouts of Yes rallies around Australia at the weekend.
Chris #Vote Yes had some hurtful things to say about a room of old people being screetched at by Michaelia Cash of the importance of remaining ignorant, while Peter Murphy saw love, respect and unity.

Michael J Wyllie wasn’t reacting to those particular marches but formed a strong opinion on some No Hopers he saw in action.

Let’s run a few memes now to lighten the load just a little.
CaraMia200 also reflected on the big turnouts at the weekend but we’re grateful she also included this meme which nicely sums up what The Voice is really all about, while TOM RED nailed Dutton in his usual ruthless manner.

Back now to some general observations on The Voice and we just loved the fact that Catherine (Rollinson) Williams reckons we’re reached the “you couldn’t make this shit up” stages of the debate. Bewdifully put.

Rowan Connolly took aim at our woeful mainstream medioce while Valerie deBritt reckons she spotted bias in dear old Aunty. Goodness, gracious. Surely not!

Our favourite witches as usual took no prisoners, calling most NO voters racist arseholes…

… while Yes2Voice (Troy) and Mahen Samaranayake in conversation and Rudy Terwilliger all reckon there’s no silver lining in a No win for Peter Dutton, a theory The Bug is 100 per cent in agreement over.

Newscorpse in particular piled onto Marcia Langton over recent times over its rock-solid principle that only the No camp can accuse the other side of being racist so let’s balance things up with this comment from JayJay.

And let’s finish up with one final meme, this one from Philip O’Leary.
