Don’t get us wrong. We’re not complete dunderheads and we accept that coach Kevin Walters’ decision to rest a whole swag of top players had a lot to do with the loss. A brave decision that might prove to be a very sensible one as well.
But the decision by Walters, who was clearly far from match fit and far past his prime, to play was a terrible mistake!
