Lots of serious issues to cover this week so our Tweets-of-the-Week judges thought they’d kick off with something light, fluffy and totally lacking in good nutrition – yes, Kitchen Cabinet.

Nice one. Although we suspect a lot of BUGgers out there would have been hoping Ms Crabb kicked off her new series with lunch with Hannibal Lecter.

STOP PRESS: Look, we don’t want to start a fight about who came up with the Hitler idea first but we’ve just discovered these two beauties from Mark and ajgardineresq. Highly commended ribbons for you two.

Peter Murphy (again), Rick and PRGuy all took a swipe at The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPACAus) cookathon in Sydney..

… while Kaz Cooke and TOM RED had a look at a smaller meeting in the west where Michaelia Cash led the mindless and moronic chanting of a crowd made up largely of senile … sorry, cheap shot … senior citizens.

Perhaps watching video of those two gatherings inspired CaraMia to share this meme with the Twitterverse…

… and Avril simply could not let a recent piece of racist Andrew Bolt rubbish pass by without a full-frontal assault. By the by, this stink piece from Bolt has already been declared the winner of The Bug‘s Media Glass House Arse-Licker for August trophy. It’s breathtakingly stupid.

Stephen took a shot at Simon Birmingham for not having the guts to go out and support The Voice while Rudy Terwilliger in conversation with Jewels told the media in general to fuck off.

On general political issues, Doug Cameron and bradpsychology had matters nuclear in their sights…

…. while Toni Symonds presented what we think is another fine reason for Australia becoming a republic asap.
