…CASUALLY!

This second look at The Bug‘s tweets of the week kicks off with the observation by our tweet judges that never before has one word sparked such outrage.
The word was “casually” and it was penned at the weekend by no-talent numpty Parnell Palme McGuinness in the Saturday edition of The Sydney Morning Herald.
At top and below is Jenny Frecklington-Jones #VoteYes etc’s response to that column…

Peter Murphy joined the pile-on, with a summary of the McGuinness column we at The Bug heartily agreed with.

McGuinessess’s regular column in the weekend Heralds is reason enough for The Bug to cancel its subscription to both weekend papers but as we’ve explained before, we get so much good material for our Media Glass House and Mediocre Bytes columns that it will harm us to some extent when we do.
From The Bug‘s point of view, we find the use of that word “casually” as so totally unsuitable, beyond bizarre and worthy of an unconditional, unreserved, apology from McGuinness to thoise who suffered mightily, including those who died, as a result of that illegal and heartless scheme that all we can offer is this little graphic we quickly prepared in her dishonour. It’s a bit shitty and amateurish but it goes well with her writings.

On now to Channel 7’s ongoing campaign to paint Linda Reynolds and Bruce Lehrmann as the real victims of whatever happened at Parliament House back in March 2019.
Phillip Lodge and Sandra K Eckersley had this to spray about Seven’s Spotlight program at the weekend.

Sahar Adatia also joined in…

Still on television, Dr Sheep Person Podge puts the stirring spoon through what Kitchen Cabinet has cooked up….

.. while Martin Flanagan had this wonderful dig at Sky Rightwing Views while praising the Diamonds….

.. and The Trolling Stones had News Corp generally in his sights.

Finally, on general politics, Bee etc, etc, saw the ongoing saga of federal parliamentary Question Time as proof positive that the LNP are, possibly and almost unbelievably, even worse as an Opposition then they were as a government.
